Dignatories like Juhi Chawla (a noted film actor and producer), graced the occasion, along with other well known celebreties like Mukesh Khanna, Ayushman Khurana, and also Shri Subhash Ghai.
Mr. Subhash Ghai, a film director and producer (Mukta Arts) par excellence marked some very important topics pertaining to the selection of a Guru. He also gave some illustrations on the topic in his speech. He said that a teacher in school should be a person of optimum knowledge; The knowledge which she can further disseminate to the patrons or students. The Guru as is of Prime importance in Hindu Vedic Culture where initially the kings used to send their children to the “GURUKUL” in order to gain knowledge of arts, science, spirituality and dharma as well as skills of governance, administration, warfare and diplomacy.
He also warned that the native Indian culture is fast getting corrupted by blind westernisation and cultural obfuscation, which is dangerous as we tend to forget our roots. Our indigenous culture and Sanskrit language are of prime importance and should not be forgotten with the advent of foreign languages and cultures.
Maintaining our culture and spiritual binding comes from a GURU who is herself well grounded and perfect in their teachings. So the step to Godhead goes through the Guru and thus selection of that Guru is of prime importance. Which also what Sanathan Dharma teaches.
The event ended with Shri Ayushman Khurana's short preview of his upcoming film 'Hawaizada', which was followed by a short speech by him.
Such events should be carried forward and should be encouraged by one and all in the Hindu Society, which gives a gateway for progress to citizens who want to explore more into the facts, and culture of Bharat.
All in all the fest was a feast for the eyes and brain of the common man who is devoid of such cultural BUFFET and its promising that next year onwards the crowd would be more encouraging in terms of strength and attendance.

The fifth and Final day : Bharat Gaatha-India's epic influence on the world
A day to celebrate India’s glorious contributions to the world. India is considered the Land of firsts. With more serious research being conducted in Indology (academic discipline concerned with the study of the history of Indian Subcontinent) more and more phenomenons are being attributed to historical Indian antecedents. It is being argued that not just the decimal system of counting but some of the first surgical operating techniques originated from India. The inquiry, that the first air plane was flown by an Indian, is gaining momentum. Claims of Indian Civilization predating the civilizations of Sumer and Egypt are also being re-investigated. “Bharat Gaatha” shall contribute to this ongoing discussion by bringing out such facts that decorate India's undisputed antiquity with advanced scientific innovations, great philosophical thought and intercontinental commercial spread. The impression, that India has left on the world's civilizations in the past and which remains definite yet hidden, needs to be re-introduced first to modern Indians and then to the world.
